When will you officially launch?
We’re aiming to launch by the end of 2025, but Anthurium Archives is a project alongside our full-time jobs, the timeline may shift slightly.
If you’re eager to stay updated, you can register your interest, we’ll only use your email to let you know when we launch then remove it from our database.
Why don't you accept NOIDs?
We love NOIDs! Some of our best plants are NOID, but we want the archives to focus documenting hybridization that is known. If the community feels strongly that they want to upload NOIDs, we can consider the best way to highlight their glory.
Why not seedling photos?
They’re adorable, but ideally we’d like to see the hybrid’s distinguishing features.
My hybrid is already listed, should I submit more photos?
Yes! Collecting images of the same hybrid from different people helps us identify which traits are most dominant in hybridization and makes it easier to verify whether a plant hybrid is labeled correctly.
What kind of links can I submit for photo attribution?
You may link to your personal socials (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook..) or website, but they may not be a business account. It’s okay if you’re an individual who occasionally sells your own plants.
Can businesses upload photos at all?
Yes, you are more than welcome to submit and contribute to the community. However, do remember you cannot have any text/links or business branding in the images.
Why can't a business link be used for images?
This helps prevent scammers from posting stolen/inaccurate photos and then selling mislabeled plants. If you would like to advertise on Anthurium Archives, please use the contact form.
A tick-box for variegation and mutations?
We appreciate that variegated and mutated plants showcase their own beauty, but we think the best way to highlight them is among their brothers and sisters. We will add the info to the photo description.
What is your AI policy?
We may use "AI" to spell check and maybe help rewrite our content for clarity (we are plant people, not professional writers) but we don't use generative AI to create content.

No problem! Just send a message through the contact form and request a removal. We are a small team, so it can take up to 30 days, but it's usually way faster. We'll let you know when we have removed your data.
